YOUR FIVE-WEEK TRAINING PLAN
Five weeks. A shot with more answers.
Start with the mechanics of your shot, then build the ways you use it in a game. Each week adds a different situation: the open catch, the shot on the move, the chance you create, and the decision that brings it together.
WEEK 01 · BUILD THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR SHOT
Mechanics

Begin with how your shot is put together. Week 1 gives your footwork, balance and shooting motion their own attention before you add the movement and decisions of a game.
• Work on your footwork and balance as you prepare to shoot.
• Refine hand placement and follow-through.
• Build a repeatable shooting motion to carry into the following weeks.
Next: put those mechanics to work when the pass finds you open.
WEEK 02 · BE READY WHEN THE BALL ARRIVES
Spot-up

An open look is an opportunity to prepare and shoot. Week 2 focuses on the catch-and-shoot details that help you get organized when the ball swings your way.
• Train how to set your feet for the catch.
• Work on squaring up and preparing your shot under pressure.
• Connect the catch to your shooting motion with less hesitation.
Next: bring that preparation into shots where you arrive on the move.
WEEK 03 · SHOOT AFTER YOU MOVE
Movement

The game does not always let you stand still and wait for the pass. Week 3 builds on your catch-and-shoot work with movement, including coming off screens and getting ready to shoot.
• Work on shooting in motion rather than only from a stationary position.
• Train the movement of coming off screens.
• Practice squaring your shoulders as you arrive for the shot.
Next: create your own shooting opportunity when the defense takes away the easy catch.
WEEK 04 · CREATE YOUR OWN SHOT
Scoring

Sometimes you need to make the opening yourself. Week 4 focuses on using the dribble and separation moves to create a shooting opportunity against a defender.
• Work on pull-ups and step-backs.
• Use rhythm dribbles and separation moves to create space.
• Connect your shot creation to the mechanics and preparation you have practiced.
Next: bring those options together and choose which shot the defense gives you.
WEEK 05 · BRING THE PIECES INTO THE GAME
Versatility

The final week connects the earlier work. You will focus on reading the defender and choosing a shooting option that fits the situation, drawing on your mechanics, movement and shot creation.
• Work on reading defenders and the opportunities they leave.
• Choose between the shooting options you have trained.
• Combine mechanics, movement and scoring in different game situations.
Keep building: return to the lessons and workout guides as you continue practicing.
Five weeks. Four sessions per week. Follow the sequence from mechanics to game situations, using your PDF guides to organize the work.
HOW THE PROGRAM FITS TOGETHER
How the five weeks work.
You get access to the full program after purchase. The five-week sequence organizes your practice, starting with your foundation and adding more ways to use your shot.
01 Start with mechanics
Begin with Week 1 so your footwork, balance, hand placement and follow-through have a foundation before you add the later shooting situations.
02 Give each week a focus
Follow Mechanics, Spot-up, Movement, Scoring and Versatility in order. Use that week’s training and PDF workout guide to keep your sessions connected.
03 Build a practice routine
Plan for four sessions each week, with 30–45 minutes for each session. You need access to a basketball and hoop; no weight room or specialized equipment is required.
04 Bring the skills together
Week 5 combines the earlier work with reading defenders and selecting shots. The full program remains available to revisit as you continue to practice.

Work on shooting from farther out. Range Extender focuses on developing deep shooting range while keeping accuracy in view.
Use it to give your longer-distance shooting focused practice alongside the main five-week system.

Kill Box Domination
Work on scoring from 10–18 feet. Kill Box Domination focuses on the midrange space between the rim and the three-point line, giving that part of your offense its own training.
